How to create OKX API Keys

To create OKX API keys, please follow steps as follows.

If you DO NOT have an OKX account​

Then please sign up

Support us

Please provide referral code 89707490 during signup to support us.

If you already have an OKX account​

Then please log in

OKX login

If your account IS NOT verified​

  1. Next you need to verify your account. Please, follow any of highlighted options below

  1. fulfill the verification steps.

  2. You should see "verified" badge at your profile page

Switch account mode to portfolio mode and auto-borrow​

  1. After logging in, please go to spot trading page

  1. Then click the settings gear icon on the top right corner

  1. Then click account mode, scroll down and select Portfolio Mode

  1. Then switch on "auto-borrow" preference

Create API key​

  1. Go to API keys page

  1. Click on "Create API Key" button

  1. Fill in the form as shown below:
  • "API key name" is any string related to the key usage
  • "IP address whitelist" should be filled with comma separated list of IP addresses as follows: 103.54.18.200,83.136.233.215,145.223.117.141
  • "Permissions" should be extended to include "Trade" permission
  • "Passphrase" is any string you want with OKX requirements. Please remember it as it will be needed later

  1. Then despite the warning, please share with our support team "API key", "Secret key" and "Passphrase"

You can scroll down and use "Copy API key info" button to copy all the key information at once
